The position of Head Sports Performance Coach, Assistant Fitness Facilities Manager within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is a 12-month, full-time position. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. MSUB is a member of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference and competes at the NCAA Division II level with 14 men’s and women’s varsity teams in basketball, cross country, indoor track and field, outdoor track and field, and golf, as well as women’s soccer, women’s softball, women’s volleyball and men’s baseball plus co-educational cheerleading.
The Head Sports Performance Coach, Assistant Fitness Facilities Manager reports to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, in coordination with the MSUB Athletic Training Staff, is responsible for the development, supervision, implementation, and overall operation of the department’s sports performance program for all varsity sports including co-educational cheerleading. The Head Sports Performance Coach, Assistant Fitness Facilities Manager will manage a highly functioning operation that will provide a safe, energetic, and encouraging environment that will add to the positive student-athlete experience.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
