Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Special Knowledge/Skills: knowledge of the core academic subject, curriculum and instruction; ability to instruct and manage behavior; strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience: at least one year student teaching or approved internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the head softball program, plan practices and coordinate game day activities.
• Develop student athletes’ physical, academic, and social growth through structured athletic activities.
• Collaborate with school staff to integrate athletics with the overall educational program.
