Job Description

The Head Softball Coach is responsible for providing leadership, organization, instruction, and supervision for the softball program. The coach will develop student athletes athletic skills, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, maintain a positive team culture, and ensure the program operates in accordance with school district policies and state athletic association rules.

Qualifications

• Previous softball coaching experience is preferred


• Strong knowledge of the game of softball, rules, and fundamental techniques.


• Ability to motivate and lead student athletes, creating a positive team culture.


• Valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization


• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
