Job summary

Legora is seeking a seasoned Workplace Technology Lead to own IT, AV, and facilities-adjacent operations across multiple sites. You’ll standardize tech, manage budgets, and drive automation with AI-enabled services, reporting to the CIO. The role requires a global perspective and a track record of scaling teams.

You’ll collaborate with Security, IT, People, and Finance to deliver reliable infrastructure at scale, with emphasis on vendor governance and end-to-end buildouts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT / workplace technology or facilities‑adjacent ops with multi-site/global responsibility.
• Built a function before: standards, hiring, accountability across continents.
• Strong budget management and vendor governance experience.
• Experience automating repetitive tasks and integrating AI tooling.
• Expertise in AV/conferencing setups and modern office networks.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and enterprise tooling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Legora offices run to standard — hardware, AV/conferencing, network, security, onboarding.
• Own the function's budget and vendor framework globally; forecast with Finance.
• Lead end-to-end buildouts for Workplace technology scopes across sites.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, and People on onboarding and access controls.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The IT and AI Enablement function exists to make Legora itself run as well as the product we sell: secure, automated, and compounding over time. Workplace Technology is the newest part of that function, and you’ll build it: a Lead in every major office, a shared standard for how a Legora site works, and an AI-native service desk doing the routing and the repetitive work so small on-site teams can run large sites. The footprint is growing fast - roughly 90 people in 3 offices to over 300 in 8 in about a year - and where we open next, the function you’ve built shows up with it. You’re the technology counterpart to Workplace, reporting to the CIO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Ensure that Legora’s offices are running to standard — hardware, AV and conferencing, network, physical-security infrastructure, and the day-one onboarding experience.
• Own the function’s budget and vendor framework globally: forecast with Finance, standardize vendors and contracts, and feed the site budgets that Workplace owns — a budget Finance trusts and a partnership Workplace plans buildouts with by default.
• Land active buildouts with their technology scope clean — AV, network, and badge / camera / cabling commissioning inside Workplace’s fit-outs, from kickoff to rooms that work on day one.
• Work with Information Security on access, network, and device controls, with IT Systems on the network spine and endpoint estate, and with People on onboarding.
• Run the function on Legora’s shared, AI-native service desk — common SLAs across every site, automated routing, and a standing rule that anything a site does twice gets automated. Staffing follows the same logic: automation first, then a Lead, then their team.

WHO YOU ARE

• 10+ years in IT / workplace technology, AV, or facilities‑adjacent technical operations, including several years of multi‑site or global responsibility and managing managers or senior ICs. To be direct: if you run one site today, our Workplace Technology Lead openings are the right fit; this role is for someone who has already run the function across several.
• You’ve built a function before: set the standards, hired the team, and been accountable for the result across continents, with the async habits that make distributed teams work.
• Credible in the room and on the floor. You can debug a meeting room and hold a budget conversation with Finance in the same day.
• A strong partner to Workplace, Security, IT, People, and Finance, with the judgment to know when to enforce one global way and when to let a site adapt.
• You reach for automation before headcount — you’ve turned repetitive support work into workflows, and you’re comfortable making AI tooling part of how a function runs, not a side project.

NICE TO HAVE

• AV and conferencing, office network (Meraki), and physical‑security platforms (e.g. Verkada) at scale.
• Office buildouts and fit‑outs end to end, from requirements through commissioning.
• ITSM and AI‑assisted, agentic service operations. We run an AI‑native ITSM (Serval); ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or Freshservice transfers well.
• Experience with Neat, Zoom, Meraki, Verkada, Jamf, Apple Business Manager, Okta / Microsoft Entra ID, and 1Password.
