Job summary

Civil Science in Utah seeks a Water Infrastructure Practice Leader to establish and steer our firmwide water practice. You will provide technical leadership, guide project delivery, and build client relationships across regions.

This executive role emphasizes growing the water, sewer, and drainage portfolio, mentoring engineers, and recruiting top talent. A PE license and 12+ years of experience are required, with a track record leading municipal projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
PE license required.
12+ years in water infrastructure engineering and project management.
Proven success leading municipal water projects from planning through construction.
Strong client relationship management and business development experience.
Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and build technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and expansion of Civil Science's water infrastructure practice.
Drive growth strategies for water transmission, distribution, storage, source development, treatment, and utility services.
Build and strengthen relationships with municipal agencies, utility districts, and other public-sector clients.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, proposals, and strategic partnerships.
Support revenue growth and establish a sustainable project backlog.
Provide technical leadership and ensure quality across projects.
