Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Vendor Management Director to lead the enterprise vendor governance function for its Medicare Advantage operations, including claims, pharmacy, care management, utilization, and member services. You will partner with executive leadership to maximize value and mitigate risks across strategic vendors and delegated entities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in vendor management, healthcare operations, strategic partnerships, procurement, consulting, or operational excellence.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams and enterprise-level vendor relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Public Health, or related field.
• Experience with CMS Medicare Advantage and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vendor governance strategy and establish enterprise governance frameworks and oversight processes.
• Develop relationships with vendor leadership and lead strategic business reviews and governance meetings.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, and drive performance improvement across vendor relationships.
• Oversee delegated entities and ensure CMS regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Manage risk, due diligence, business continuity, and data privacy considerations.
• Oversee financial performance, contract governance, negotiations, and cost optimization.
• Support growth initiatives, technology implementations, and enterprise transformation programs.
• Influence executive decision-making and present vendor updates to senior leadership.
• Support board-level reporting and strategic recommendations on vendor partnerships.
