Job summary

Honeywell Technologies seeks a Director Portfolio Management - Utilities to shape and execute the portfolio strategy across electric, gas, and water segments. Drive profitable growth by aligning Honeywell's offerings with market needs and leading cross-functional teams on metering, grid modernization, software, and cybersecurity initiatives.

You will report to the General Manager - Utilities and work on a hybrid schedule from Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, or Raleigh.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in portfolio management, offering management, product management, strategy, business management, sales, or program management.
• Experience in the utilities industry or related sectors (industrial, infrastructure, energy, software, automation, or technology-driven).
• Proven track record of driving portfolio growth, market expansion, customer acquisition, and financial performance.
• Strong business acumen with experience analyzing revenue, margin, profitability, market share, pipeline, and investment trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Utilities portfolio strategy, including expansion, introductions, lifecycle management, and prioritization to drive growth and leadership.
• Lead market intelligence efforts to identify growth opportunities, gaps, and priorities across electric, gas, and water utilities.
• Define and drive product roadmaps, pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and value propositions with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor portfolio performance (revenue, margin, market share, customer adoption, recurring revenue) and take actions to optimize results.
• Partner with sales and business leaders to support strategic customer engagements and cross-Honeywell opportunities.
• Serve as portfolio leader and trusted advisor to senior leadership with strategic recommendations.
