Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Engineering Leader for the Developer Experience team within UI Platform. You will lead a frontend engineering group focused on delivering an exceptional developer experience, while shaping product vision and execution through scalable processes.

You will mentor engineers, drive recruitment, and balance technical debt with strategic roadmap as you guide distributed teams toward high-quality, performant frontend solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend web development with a strong React focus.
• 2+ years leading and managing a high-performing engineering team.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineering talent at multiple levels.
• Ability to drive technical initiatives to improve team efficiency and code quality.
• Demonstrated track record in attracting, hiring, and retaining top engineering talent.
• Experience managing distributed teams across locations.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UI Platform engineering team to enhance the frontend developer experience.
• Oversee recruitment and talent development within the team.
