At Databricks, we are passionate about enabling data teams to solve the world's toughest problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business.
We are the “UI Platform” team responsible for enabling all frontend developers at Databricks to build amazing features. We support hundreds of developers working in the frontend every week. We own all aspects of the dev loop, relying on industry-standard technology like Typescript, React, GraphQL, yarn, node, webpack, and more!
We're seeking a dedicated Engineering Leader who can spearhead one of two major initiatives in the UI Platform. The first initiative is enabling developers to go from idea to code in production in 24 hours. This encompasses the dev loop, monitoring for our production frontend, and everything needed to ensure smooth delivery of code to production. The second initiative is Single Pane of Glass, which is doing infrastructure and product work aimed at unifying various parts of Databricks into one easy-to-use experience.
You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Engineering.
