Job summary

Snorkel AI is seeking a Director of Technical Recruiting to build and lead our technical recruiting engine, spanning Engineering, Research, Product, FDE, and Applied AI Engineering. The right leader will design a scalable function from the ground up, coach recruiters, partner with senior technical leaders, and compete for top AI and infrastructure talent in Bay Area and beyond.

This is a high-impact role in a hyper-growth company, with compensation in the $170k–$300k range, and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Experience building and leading technical recruiting teams.
• Experience recruiting for AI/ML, infrastructure, data roles.
• Strong partnerships with senior technical leaders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale Snorkel AI’s technical recruiting across engineering, research, product, and applied AI engineering.
• Build and manage a high-performing team of recruiters and sourcers.
• Own the overall recruiting strategy, including pipeline development and closing strategy.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to translate priorities into hiring plans.
• Create a world-class recruiting operating model balancing speed, quality and candidate experience.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies for competitive technical markets.
• Use data to forecast hiring outcomes and drive accountability.
• Coach hiring managers on effective assessment and structured interviewing.
• Build scalable processes while staying close to the work.
