Job summary

Prime Intellect AI is building the open superintelligence stack and open frontier AI platform. As Head of Talent, you will own recruiting end-to-end as we scale from ~40 to ~100 people, sourcing candidates not on the market and closing them against top offers.

You will design the sourcing engine, closing playbooks, and interview architecture to maintain a high bar while moving fast. You will report directly to the founders, with full ownership of the function, meaningful equity, and a direct

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, with frontline AI lab or top AI startup exposure.
• Direct experience recruiting ML researchers or elite systems engineers.
• Proven ability to source and close candidates not actively looking.
• Strong track record owning senior and hard-to-fill searches end-to-end.
• Comfort as a player-coach, running searches while building systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the highest-priority searches across research, infrastructure, and leadership hires.
• Design and implement the sourcing and closing engine for frontier talent.
• Stand up tooling, data, and pipeline visibility to support 60+ hires per year.
• Define hiring bar and compensation frameworks as we scale.
• Build and lead recruiting operations, candidate experience, and reporting.
