Job summary

Relay Acquisition LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to architect, build, and deploy AI voice and chat agents for client accounts. This remote, full-time role demands ownership of integrations, uptime, and deployment speed, with equity participation for the right candidate.

You'll lead end-to-end technical delivery, wire up CRM and automation workflows, and drive onboarding to go-live in days. This is a hands-on leadership position with autonomy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and deploying AI voice agents, chatbots, or conversational AI systems.
• Deep expertise in automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n), CRM integrations, and API/webhook architecture.
• Proven track record of building and scaling technical delivery for a service business or agency.
• Strong understanding of lead-to-sale pipelines and how AI agents fit into the acquisition funnel.

Responsibilities

Own the entire technical delivery layer. This is a hands-on role. Until volume demands a team, you are personally architecting AI agents, wiring integrations, and deploying client systems. You own uptime, deployment speed, and AI conversion quality directly, not just the team that produces them.

What you'll own

• Personally architect, build, and deploy AI voice and chat agents for client accounts across commercial roofing, HVAC, and tutoring verticals
• Wire up all integrations: lead sources (forms, GMB, ad pipelines), calendars, CRMs, webhooks, and automation workflows
• Own system uptime, reliability, and troubleshooting across all client accounts
• Build the technical onboarding process so new clients go live in days, not weeks
• Continuously optimize AI conversation quality by reviewing call recordings and refining agent logic
• Build the internal technical playbook, documentation, and SOPs so the role scales beyond you
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate agent development, automate QA testing, and streamline deployment workflows

Building the department

As a leadership role, you will be responsible for building this department from the ground up:

• Design the org chart and hiring roadmap for the systems department over the next 12 months
• Select, implement, and enforce the AI platform stack, automation tooling, and integration architecture
• Build the deployment pipeline: from client intake to fully configured live system
• Establish onboarding and certification processes for future systems engineers and technical onboarding specialists
• Create a culture of technical excellence, documentation, and relentless system improvement

How success is measured

01 System uptime across all client accounts (target: 99%+) 02 Lead-to-booking conversion rate (AI agent effectiveness on the call) 03 Speed of deployment (time from contract signed to client live) 04 Technical QA pass rate on new client builds 05 Client satisfaction with technical delivery
