Job summary

Naval Sea Systems Command in Panama City, Florida seeks a Principal Technical Manager and Department Head for the Subsea and Seabed Warfare and Maritime Operations Department. You will lead the department's technical strategy for research, development, test and evaluation of next-generation undersea systems and littoral warfare capabilities.

The role requires extensive engineering leadership with experience in RDT&E programs, rapid prototyping, and lifecycle sustainment across coastal and seabed

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an accredited college/university.
• Program must be ABET-accredited or include calculus and advanced engineering courses.
• Professional registration as EI/EIT or PE is acceptable.
• FE examination or equivalent written test required for licensure.
• Education/experience must show strong fundamentals in engineering sciences and math.

• Direct the department's scientific and engineering posture to deliver revolutionary military technologies.
