Job Title: Head of Strategic Operations and Delivery

Gratia operates on two fronts: on the demand side, we deliver a full-service analyst staffing solution — sourcing high-potential talent, assessing skills, matching them to client roles, and supporting them through continuous upskilling and performance management. On the supply side, Gratia is building a scalable analyst training program that levels the playing field by providing access through merit-based assessments and apprenticeships, rather than traditional pedigree.

Introduction:

As Head of Strategic Operations & Delivery, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping Gratia’s product and service excellence. This position involves overseeing candidate screening and assessment, training and development, and delivery workflows to ensure Gratia analysts consistently exceed client expectations. You will collaborate across product, technology, and client-facing teams to integrate talent operations into a seamless platform experience, optimizing for scale, quality, and learning.

Responsibilities:

Screening & Assessment:

  • Lead the development of automated and scenario-based assessments aligned with Gratia’s task-skill ontology.
  • Integrate screening processes into the platform to inform matching and developmental pathways.
  • Manage screening with a focus on embedding Learning & Development to promote analyst growth.
  • Refine the Analyst Baseball Card system to accurately reflect candidate potential and performance.
  • Participate in final interview assessments for top pathway completers.

Upskilling, Training & Delivery:

  • Design and lead training sessions covering core analyst skills: problem-solving, data synthesis, presentation, and communication.
  • Expand the training resource library aligned to task-skills and attributes.
  • Build a structured Analyst Onboarding Program covering expectations, processes, and cybersecurity.
  • Create feedback loops and growth tracking mechanisms to inform learning and development.
  • Guide analysts during initial projects, gradually increasing autonomy and responsibility.
  • Define and execute transparent promotion processes grounded in skill assessments.
  • Implement processes to ensure high-quality delivery, including peer reviews, EOW updates, and automated feedback tools.
  • Collaborate with account management to align delivery outcomes with client success

Product Input & Definition:

  • Serve as the key link between Delivery and Product teams to ensure accurate task-skill ontology implementation.
  • Lead initiatives to integrate scalable tech-driven improvements into screening and matching workflows

Experience & Attributes:

Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
  • 3–5 years of strategy consulting experience at top-tier firms (e.g., Bain, McKinsey, BCG).

Professional Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership in developing and managing diverse talent pipelines.
  • Strong process development expertise, from near-term delivery systems to long-term quality improvement frameworks.
  • Proven ability to design scalable upskilling and assessment initiatives.
  • Skilled in role optimization and team scaling strategies.
  • Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
