Translucent Solar seeks a Plant Manager to lead startup, ramp-up, and ongoing manufacturing operations at its solar module facility in Summerville, SC. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while building a capable team and scalable processes.

You will translate business objectives into operating plans, coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, and Quality, and ensure equipment reliability and continuous improvement across shifts and functions.

Qualificações

• Four years of solar manufacturing leadership experience or equivalent.
• Experience managing a solar module factory or substantial module manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of solar module production equipment, processes, and reliability.
• Experience leading supervisors and production teams and improving plant performance.
• Experience managing labor, budgets, production metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead plant startup and ramp-up activities including equipment installation, staffing, training, and production trials.
• Direct daily manufacturing operations, establish priorities, staffing, and procedures for module assembly, testing, and packaging.
• Champion safety and environmental responsibilities in partnership with HSE.
• Protect product quality through ISO 9001-aligned processes, traceability, audits, and CAPA.
• Build and develop the plant team through recruiting, coaching, and performance management.
• Improve equipment reliability and drive process improvements with Engineering and Maintenance.
• Align production with material availability and customer demand with procurement and supply chain.
• Manage operating costs, budgets, and capital requests using Lean and structured problem-solving.
