Job summary

Arcadia-Ltc- is seeking a Social Services Director to oversee the Social Services department, ensuring psychosocial needs of residents are met in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You will manage the team, assess residents, develop care plans, and coordinate with medical professionals and facilities to provide comprehensive support.

• Two years of job-related experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Experience with social work, preferably working directly with patients and their family members at a nursing facility.
• Detail oriented, computer literate and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the Social Services Department, and identify and provide for residents social, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Accurately assess, document and provide interventions to meet psychosocial needs of all residents.
• Develop care plans based on assessments.
• Maintain a quality working relationship with the medical profession and other health related facilities and organizations.
