Job summary

Comstock Companies seeks a ParkX Security Operations Manager to lead the security team across ParkX properties, ensuring first-class service and adherence to company policy. The role supports development of financial statements and management proposals, demonstrating leadership and drive for positive change.

Responsibilities include directing security staff, coordinating events, maintaining equipment, and reporting to the Executive Team.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a security officer by VA, MD, and DC.
• 2+ years in security or law enforcement.
• 3+ years in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the security team (Managers, Supervisors, Officers).
• Ensure team aligns with corporate goals and policies.
• Address customer concerns promptly in a first-class manner.
• Coordinate security operations for events with marketing.
• Conduct daily property walkthroughs and track maintenance items.
• Resolve escalated concerns from front-line staff.
• Maintain equipment through regular upkeep and preventative care.
• Schedule, deploy, supervise, and train Security Officers.
• Manage maintenance contracts and vendor relationships (janitorial, landscaping, security).
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly activity reports as required.
