Job summary

Yardstik, a growth-stage software company, is seeking a Head of Security and Infrastructure to lead security, DevOps, Site Reliability, and IT across the Technology Organization in Minneapolis, MN. You will own certifications, relationships with counsel, and technology spend while partnering with engineering to secure product development and deployment.

You will guide governance, risk management, and AI integration, and shape a pragmatic security roadmap to protect customers and the company as

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total experience in a SaaS-based B2B enterprise software provider
• Experience with AI-powered tools
• Expertise with cloud-native engineering environments (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Extensive experience with web security and performance (WAF, CDN, etc.)
• Expertise in configuring and using advanced monitoring tools
• Experience with on-call and incident response processes
• Experience directly owning an organization’s maintenance of its certifications, accreditations, and attestations

Responsibilities

• Own essential accountabilities with a pragmatic approach as Yardstik grows
• Be a part of the highly collaborative Technology team
• Directly engage Technology org leadership and Principal Engineers to evolve the Technology Org
• Directly engage General Counsel, Go To Market leadership, and CFO org leadership
• Balance day-to-day IC work with priorities while maintaining focus on essential accountabilities
• Partner with software engineering to ensure product security and enable CI/CD processes
• Instrument systems for observability and supportability
• Incorporate AI-powered tools securely across departments
