Job summary

Turning Point Christian Academy in St. Augustine, FL seeks a Head of School to unite church and school in a Christ-centered教育 journey. The role leads spiritual, academic, and operational excellence with a budget around $4M, and stewardship of a future Performing Arts Center project.

The candidate will mentor staff, expand enrollment, and ensure rigorous K–12 curriculum. Ideal candidates bring 7–10+ years leadership in Christian education, advanced degrees, and credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degrees preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in Christian education or ministry.
• Administrative credential and prior school administrator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate vibrant spiritual leadership; lead chapel services, devotions, and prayer initiatives.
• Champion Portrait of a Graduate; align school vision with church ministries; plan strategically.
• Oversee a rigorous K–12 Christ-centered curriculum; supervise principals and staff; maintain accreditation.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain qualified Christian faculty; foster a culture of trust and accountability.
• Nurture students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically with leadership opportunities.
• Engage families and community; build relationships with alumni, donors, and partners.
• Direct budget development and stewardship; oversee facilities, safety, risk, and tech.
• Coordinate church-school alignment and provide transparent reporting to church leadership.
