Job summary

GT School is seeking a Program Director to design, validate, and scale a high-performance gifted school model, starting with a prototype campus and expanding to a nationwide network.

You will build a physical campus, establish staffing and operations, and craft parent-facing messaging to fuel growth and adoption across communities.

The role demands founder-level energy, relentless execution, and regular travel to Austin; compensation is $200/hour as a contractor of record with Crossover.

Qualifications

• Built and scaled a high-impact venture from scratch (minimum $1M yearly revenue).
• Deep, personal understanding of gifted students.
• AI-first mentality as default for problem-solving and scaling.
• Proven ability to articulate a compelling vision and convert skeptics into believers.
• Based in the U.S. with ability to travel regularly to Austin (minimum 1 week/month).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and scale scalable programs focusing on leadership, independence, and competition.
• Build and validate a physical model campus, including staffing models, space design, and operations.
• Develop parent-facing messaging, market strategies, and growth playbooks for expansion.
• Define, document, and scale quality standards and cultural rituals across future sites.
• Act as the public face of the model—drive visibility through media, events, and partnerships.
