Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead our Mortgage Vertical. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and expanding our footprint within the mortgage lending industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the mortgage vertical, aligning with Truv's overall business objectives.
  • Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive new business acquisition and expand existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the mortgage industry, including partnerships and strategic alliances.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional value to clients.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Truv at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in enterprise and strategic sales roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity (Director, RVP, or equivalent).
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the mortgage lending landscape, including familiarity with LOS platforms like Encompass and Empower.
  • Track Record: Proven success in building and scaling sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and driving market expansion.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
