Job description

A non-profit organization is looking for a Head of Sales & Channel Partnerships to join their team.
This role is remote.
Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and target potential enterprise customers globally, understanding their needs and aligning the organization's offerings to support their enterprise agility and workforce development goals.
  2. Oversee and manage the sales cycle for products and services, including on-demand training courses, in-person and live-online training, bulk membership sales, and event registrations and sponsorships.
  3. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals, utilizing CRM tools for tracking.
  4. Build and nurture long-term relationships with enterprise customers for repeat business and cross-selling.
  5. Provide data-driven insights to improve sales processes and growth strategies.
  6. Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and reseller opportunities to expand reach and create new revenue streams.
  7. Partner with executives to develop and execute channel partnership strategies.
  8. Contribute insights and adapt strategies based on market findings.
  9. Create licensing programs for external organizations to resell products, including Licensed Training Affiliate programs and inbound licensing agreements.
  10. Oversee the onboarding and management of channel partners, ensuring standards and alignment with the organization's mission.
  11. Collaborate with internal teams for seamless partner integration, co-marketing, and joint initiatives.
  12. Design, implement, and optimize licensing and reseller programs, including partner approval criteria and ongoing evaluation.
  13. Monitor program performance and report to leadership.
  14. Evaluate and refine channel programs to meet evolving needs.
  15. Foster cross-team collaboration to align strategies and serve as a thought leader at industry events.
  16. Partner with the Chief Growth Officer to set and achieve growth objectives.
  17. Develop and present reports on sales, partnerships, and program performance to the executive team.
  18. Engage with the trainer community and internal stakeholders for market trend insights and partnership opportunities.
  19. Represent the organization at industry events to enhance visibility.
This position will be evaluated based on KPIs such as revenue growth, partnership development, pipeline management, program success, customer retention and expansion, market penetration, team development, and stakeholder engagement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor a team of 0–3 Business Development Representatives.
  • Handle employment decisions, performance evaluations, and professional development of team members.
Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient/expert experience in HubSpot preferred.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and sales technologies.
  • Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies is a plus.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years in sales, partnerships, or related fields, preferably in tech or professional services.
  • Proven success in enterprise sales and channel partnerships.
  • Experience with licensing or reseller programs is highly desirable.
  • Experience in international sales and workforce training markets.
