Topaz Labs is a bootstrapped AI software company that hit $48m in revenue in 2025. We have 1+ million paying customers (including teams at Google, Nvidia, and NASA) maximizing the visual quality of over 1 billion photos and videos. We are profitable and growing fast, with strong product-market fit and a vast market in front of us.

We're looking for a Head of Sales to bring our suite of image + video tools to enterprise customers. While we have strong commercial demand for our proven technology, we still need to refine the playbook for creative teams, enterprise, and API customers. As a founding member of the sales team, you will work directly with the CEO to define and help execute this playbook.

Despite strong prosumer product-market fit, there is still significant ambiguity on how to approach B2B and enterprise. This isn't a turnkey or coin-operated sales role, and this role will exist only once in our company's path to IPO. If the idea of building a sales function from zero to one while working alongside a world-class tech team appeals to you, this role might be a perfect fit.

What you'll do

  1. Talk to many customers to develop our commercial go-to-market strategy
  2. Own our existing pipeline for commercial licensing, enterprise solutions, and API integrations
  3. Systematically increase commercial revenue by converting existing prosumer customers and finding new opportunities
  4. After developing and proving the sales playbook: recruit, train, and lead a sales team to accelerate growth

Who you are

  1. 7+ years of technology sales, product management, or consulting experience
  2. Proven experience building and leading sales teams
  3. Demonstrated success owning outcomes with little oversight
  4. Organized and methodical, thrives in ambiguity and complexity
  5. Able to clearly communicate technical concepts and demonstrate technical value
  6. Highly preferred: experience in filmmaking or creative industries
  7. Highly preferred: experience recruiting, building, and training a technology sales team
  8. Highly preferred: experience selling highly technical integrations / API-focused solutions

This is a full-time on-site role in Dallas, TX, and we will ask you to relocate if you're not in the area.
