Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Safety Officer to direct system-wide safety programs and ensure compliance with Environment of Care, Environmental Compliance and Occupational Safety standards.

You will lead safety surveys, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and advise executive leadership on evolving safety regulations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in EH&S or related field, with 10+ years in safety management and 5+ years in leadership, and certification from a recognized

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene or Business Management.
• Certification from a recognized safety body (ASSP, AHA, Board of Safety Professionals) required.
• 10+ years of safety/life safety management experience; 5+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Directs system-wide safety activities of Orlando Health.
• Aligns safety strategy with department and organizational goals.
• Implements policies to ensure safety of patients, visitors, and team members.
• Directs safety programs including training, equipment, and staff.
• Provides guidance to executive team on regulatory changes affecting safety.
• Maintains liaison with AHCA, TJC, and OSHA.
• Directs EOC, Environmental Compliance and Occupational Safety surveys.
• Chairs Corporate Environment of Care Executive Committee.
