A leading co-educational boarding school in Yorkshire seeks an experienced Rugby coach to develop the sport within the school. The role involves strategic planning, coaching students aged 7-18, and contributing to a vibrant sporting culture. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Sport and have opportunities for professional development. Accommodation may be provided if needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a key role in the management and development of Rugby at our successful co-educational and boarding School situated 12 miles East of York. We have a strong tradition of sporting excellence, participation and enjoyment, making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced sporting professional to shape this role and make it their own. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in developing and implementing our bold Strategic Education Vision, alongside our Director of Sport, to impact the sporting life of our School.
Pocklington School offers a supportive environment with a good work-life balance, professional development opportunities, and social activities. The role requires an average of 37 hours per week, Monday to Saturday during term time, plus 4 weeks for sports tours and pre-season training.
