Job summary

KitchenSync, Inc. is seeking a VP of Procurement Solutions in Los Angeles to lead procurement and food-cost solutions for Kit, KitchenSync’s restaurant technology platform.

You will drive purchasing, vendor management, inventory, recipes, and costing across multiple locations, while partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to optimize Kit’s procurement capabilities. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in restaurant operations, procurement, purchasing, or related field.
• Deep expertise in restaurant purchasing, vendor management, inventory, recipes, food costs, and menu costing.
• Experience with restaurant owners, operators, chefs, and multi-unit restaurant organizations.
• Strong understanding of how procurement and operational decisions impact food costs, margins, and profitability.
• Comfortable working within technology platforms and translating restaurant workflows into technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert on restaurant procurement, ordering, vendor management, inventory, recipes, and costing.
• Use Kit to implement, manage, and optimize procurement processes across operations.
• Advise operators on improving purchasing practices, controlling costs, increasing visibility, and scalable processes.
• Own business requirements and operator experience for Kit’s procurement, inventory, recipe, and costing capabilities.
• Bridge between restaurant operators and Product/Engineering teams to translate needs into product requirements.
