Job summary

Tulane University is seeking a senior leader to drive the design, implementation, and support of research computing environments, storage, and cloud platforms. This role partners closely with researchers, central IT, security, and administrative stakeholders to align technology services with institutional goals and sponsor requirements.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for secure, scalable research data ecosystems, prioritize fiscal responsibility, and guide teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Significant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, research computing, or related technology leadership roles.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise or research computing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with researchers, central IT, information security, and administrative stakeholders.
• Ensure technology services align with sponsor requirements and institutional goals.
• Provide strategic leadership and fiscal stewardship of computing resources.
• Communicate effectively with technical staff, faculty, researchers, and leadership.
