Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Replenishment and Inventory Solutions to lead enterprise-wide inventory planning and supply chain strategies for optimal product availability, cost, and speed.

The role directs cross-functional teams, drives lifecycle inventory management, and partners with suppliers to resolve disruptions, ensuring inventory health and alignment with merchandising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years' experience in supply chain, merchandising, or retail management OR 5 years' experience in supply chain or related field.
• Experience supervising others is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle inventory planning to optimize sales, profitability, and customer availability through supplier partnerships and execution excellence.
• Oversee demand forecasts, product launches, seasonal and promotional planning, ensuring inventory aligns with business objectives.
• Drive root cause analysis and recovery plans to resolve out-of-stock challenges and improve inventory health.
• Manage network-wide inventory flows, balancing demand, cost efficiency, and synchronization with resets and promotions.
• Provide strategic leadership across cross-functional teams, fostering associate development and continuous improvement in replenishment and inventory management.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to ensure delivery excellence and mitigate risks.
