Job summary

Waaree Solar Americas Inc. in Brookshire, TX seeks a Director of Quality to lead QA/QC across manufacturing plants in Brookshire and Goodyear. You will own ISO 9001, oversee IEC/UL certifications, and drive customer audits.

Responsibilities include shaping the quality system, supplier qualification, calibration oversight, and team-building for incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Must have solar/ PV or high-volume electronics experience and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 12–18+ years in manufacturing quality.
• 5+ years leading plant- or function-level quality organization.
• Direct solar PV module manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience hosting audits and resolving field/warranty escalations.
• Knowledge of PV module construction and relevant IEC/UL standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements before orders and ensure plant capability.
• Record customer quality expectations and integrate into inspection process.
• Set up and continually improve the plant's quality system and audits.
• Inspect and approve incoming materials and track suppliers for compliance.
• Monitor quality during production and stop the line if needed.
• Approve finished modules after testing power output and defect checks.
• Manage product testing and certifications and coordinate with outside labs.
• Host customer visits and audits and lead quality escalation responses.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment.
• Evaluate suppliers with Procurement to improve performance.
• Reduce waste, rework, and returns and track quality metrics.
• Build and manage the quality team across stages of inspection and testing.
