Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing quality with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience in metals, powder metallurgy, automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing.
• Experience spanning material/process quality and finished-part quality including inspection and metrology.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC and corrective actions in production.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP or similar customer product/ process qualification.
• Experience establishing or leading a manufacturing QMS and ISO 9001 or similar certification.
• Strong problem-solving and communications skills (RCA/8D).

Responsabilités

• Build and lead the Benson Quality organization including quality engineering, laboratory, metrology, and supplier quality.
• Lead ISO 9001 certification and establish plant QMS with aerospace/automotive readiness.
• Set up nonconformance, corrective action, traceability, audits, and change control processes.
• Stand up Benson analytical laboratory and production inspection for qualification and full-rate manufacturing.
• Define lab/metrology equipment needs and manage vendors through installation and acceptance.
• Collaborate with R&D and pilot facility on test-method development and transfer to production.
• Develop and release process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, sampling plans, MSA, and reaction plans.
• Serve as Quality lead for pilot-to-commercial transfers and ensure critical attributes are controlled.
• Translate customer drawings and specifications into manufacturing quality requirements.
• Ensure processes and measurement systems demonstrate capability before release.
• Lead APQP/PPAP, first article, safe launch, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Provide Quality leadership during commissioning, readiness, startup, and ramp.
• Own quality across incoming materials through finished-product release.
• Be the plant focal point for customer concerns including containment and root-cause analysis.
• Drive PFMEA updates, control plans, specs, and best practices across operations.
