Job summary

Ilab Llc in the United States seeks a Director of Quality Engineering – Automation & Performance to lead the practice, shape strategy, and drive successful client engagements across the U.S. Automation and Performance Testing portfolio.

The role combines hands-on consulting leadership with executive stakeholder management, governance, and capability development, while supporting global delivery teams and shaping AI-enabled testing practices.

Qualifications

Over 15 years in Quality Engineering or related fields with senior leadership of Automation and Performance Testing
Experience leading multi-client deliveries and complex engagements
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, test-data readiness, environment readiness, and modern delivery pipelines

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day delivery, staffing, allocation, utilization, and technical direction for Automation and Performance Testing initiatives
Define and evolve strategies, roadmaps, frameworks, and reusable assets
Lead client-facing activities including discovery, workshops, and executive presentations
Serve as senior escalation point and provide architecture reviews and recovery leadership
Shape proposals, SOWs, estimates, and delivery commitments
Hire, coach, and retain engineering leaders and specialists
Collaborate with global delivery leaders to align standards and assets
