Job summary

The incumbent will manage the Section's work programme, budgets, staff, and performance, while representing the section at inter-agency meetings and contributing to intergovernmental reports.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required; substitution allows for two additional years of experience
• At least 10 years international experience in admin, budget, finance, HR, PM, coordination, supply chain, procurement, or ICT
• Experience leading project/programme management for organizational reform and transformation
• Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools desirable

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee programme/project development and implementation focusing on efficiency
• Lead initiatives to enhance service delivery through innovative approaches
• Manage relationships with key partners to support UN80 initiative
• Represent the Section at inter-agency meetings and contribute to reports
• Prepare the Section's work programme and oversee budgets and staff performance
