Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Sr. Director of Product & Platform Trust to shape secure product development at scale. You will partner with product and engineering leaders to embed security throughout the lifecycle and drive a unified security strategy across Autodesk's product divisions.

You will lead security engineering, product management, and enablement to deliver scalable tooling and practices, while driving adoption and measurable improvements in secure development across a global organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product security or related disciplines, including leadership
• Experience leading product or application security at scale in a complex software/SaaS environment
• Experience partnering with senior product and engineering executives across multiple business units and influencing strategy without direct authority
• Experience translating product security needs into a capability roadmap and leading teams that build security tooling/platforms/services
• Experience improving remediation at scale by addressing developer workflow, tooling, automation, or structural barriers
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices, cloud architectures, secure SDLC
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams including security, engineering, and product management
• Track record of driving adoption and measurable outcomes across distributed engineering environments
• Exceptional communication and executive-influence skills for strategic decisions
• Experience building and retaining senior technical leadership across globally distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Autodesk's product security strategy focusing on scalable secure products
• Build partnerships with senior product and engineering leaders to understand architectures and security challenges
• Define security capabilities and services needed across the development lifecycle
• Lead application security strategy including threat modeling, secure coding practices, testing and remediation
• Lead Product Security Engineering and Product Management to create a roadmap and scalable tooling
• Drive adoption and enablement so security capabilities are used effectively by product teams
• Create a feedback loop between product organizations and Product Security to evolve priorities
• Partner with Vulnerability Management to understand barriers and develop scalable remediation capabilities
• Define and measure outcomes demonstrating adoption and improvements in secure development
• Build and retain a high-performing, globally distributed organization
