At n8n, we're on a mission to democratize automation. With a thriving open-source community, rapidly growing enterprise adoption, and major momentum in the AI space, we’re scaling fast—and product marketing is at the center of it all.

We’re now looking for a Head of Product Marketing to lead our growing product marketing function and help shape how the world understands n8n. You’ll bring structure, depth, and leadership to a team of 3 PMMs (and growing), define how we launch products, communicate value, and scale our story across technical users, enterprise buyers, and the broader automation ecosystem.

Product marketing is a core pillar of how we connect our technology with users. As we expand into more sophisticated technical and enterprise use cases, we need a seasoned leader to:

  • Drive our positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
  • Own product launches, user research, and adoption programs
  • Manage and grow a high-performing team of product marketers and developer content creators
  • Bring structure to an area that's full of potential, but underleveraged today

MISSION

  • Shape our narrative: Define and evolve n8n’s positioning across community users, technical builders, and enterprise buyers—ensuring consistency and clarity at every touchpoint.
  • Balance the message: Craft a tone that’s both accessible and credible—community-friendly, technically sharp, and enterprise-ready.
  • Lead seamless launches: Own the end-to-end product release workflow—from planning to execution—turning features into high-impact stories.
  • ️ Align with DevRel: Build and maintain a DevRel-focused content calendar that scales technical storytelling and supports community engagement.
  • Elevate visuals: Oversee motion design, product visuals, and documentation to bring product benefits to life across channels.
  • ️ Set the stage for category creation: Lay the groundwork for n8n to define or lead a new category that reflects our full potential—beyond automation.
  • Build and lead the team: Hire, mentor, and grow a world-class team across product marketing, DevRel, and technical content.

In the first 3 months, you’ll...

  • Launch first positioning experiments and test early messaging shifts
  • Ship a high-impact website messaging update
  • Deliver a clear roadmap for product marketing and technical storytelling

By 6 months, you’ll...

  • Increase team productivity with clearer workflows and distributed ownership
  • Lead a major messaging and category creation initiative
  • Collaborate on large-scale brand and go-to-market campaigns

By 12 months, you’ll...

  • Own a repeatable launch process, supporting 4+ major releases annually
  • Scale a high-functioning team across community, enterprise, and product releases
  • Position n8n as a market leader in the automation and AI space
  • Drive industry visibility through analysts, dev content, and thought leadership

Requirements

Must-haves:

  • 5–7+ years in product marketing, DevRel, or technical marketing leadership
  • 3–5+ years working with technical audiences in B2B SaaS (>$10M ARR)
  • Over 2 years of managing a marketing team in a hypergrowth context
  • Hands-on experience with product-led and enterprise go-to-market models
  • Strong technical fluency (APIs, webhooks, scripting) — not just buzzwords
  • Proven success launching technical products across multiple channels and teams
  • Track record of building and scaling product marketing orgs from early to growth stages
  • Strong storytelling instincts — you know how to craft narratives that stick
  • A strategic mind paired with a bias for action — you can zoom out and ship
  • Comfort working autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Based in Europe or on the East Coast of North America

Bonus points if you…

  • Have worked closely with Developer Relations and content marketing teams
  • Bring experience from companies moving up-market or defining new categories
  • Know how to balance qualitative intuition with data-driven measurement
  • Have built strong brand visibility through analyst relations, community content, or technical launches

WHY JOIN NOW?

  • Shape and lead the foundation of a strategic function at a pivotal growth stage
  • Build and scale a product marketing division from the ground up
  • Work on a product beloved by developers, used by enterprises, and relevant in the age of AI
  • Partner with passionate product, marketing, and community teams
  • Influence how one of the most flexible, open, and powerful automation tools is perceived around the world
