Job summary

Weiss-Aug, a leader in precision manufacturing, seeks a Director of Operations at the East Hanover, NJ site. You will plan and direct manufacturing, materials, and safety programs, drive continuous improvement, and lead multiple departments to ensure on-time, high-quality output.

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, and collaboration with engineering, sales, and product development to align future plans with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of precision manufacturing experience including molding.
• 10 years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct line operations and manufacturing support functions.
• Interpret forecasts and schedules to meet on-time, defect-free output.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Sales and new product development to align plans.
• Develop and manage material, production scheduling and planning systems.
• Maintain adequate inventories to meet production needs.
• Develop manufacturing facilities and equipment for efficient production.
• Collaborate with tooling/engineering on quality and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare budgets and oversee profit and loss for the division.
• Set and monitor standard costs; participate in policy development.
