Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Director of Software Engineering, Platform Services in the United States to lead internal developer platforms, tooling, and shared services that accelerate product development. You will define strategy, roadmaps, and the operating model for platform investments across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in technical software development or platform engineering with leadership.
• 5+ years supervising multiple engineering teams and delivering internal tooling.
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development initiatives at scale.
• Production services ownership, reliability, and incident response experience.
• Ability to consolidate duplicated capabilities into centralized platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, roadmap, and operating model for Platform Services.
• Lead multiple teams responsible for internal developer platforms, tooling, and shared services.
• Establish AI-assisted development, evaluation practices, and guards for AI-generated code.
• Build golden-path templates, scaffolds, and reference implementations.
• Own developer experience, environments, build/test performance, and automation.
• Deliver and operate shared engineering services with SLAs and on-call coverage.
• Drive platform adoption across product teams with fast, secure, and efficient paths.
• Collaborate with delivery pipelines, cloud, security, and runtime platforms.
• Establish metrics on productivity, adoption, and platform impact.
• Evaluate build/buy/open-source options considering long-term costs and security.
