Marquis Health Consulting Services seeks a Vice President of Plant Operations to lead plant operations, maintenance, and capital programs across our New England facilities. The role requires strategic oversight, regional leadership, and adherence to Life Safety Code and Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of Plant Operations experience within Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Multi-facility and regional leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience overseeing facility maintenance, capital projects, renovations, construction, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare facility regulations, Life Safety Code requirements, Joint Commission standards, and OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and support regional and facility-level maintenance teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with executive leadership, facility teams, contractors, and vendors.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of plant operations, maintenance, construction, and capital improvement initiatives across multiple facilities.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee three (3) Regional Directors of Plant Operations and Facility Maintenance Directors.
• Plan and oversee capital projects, major repairs, renovations, and new construction projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison for construction projects, contractors, vendors, and other external partners.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for the efficient operation and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, and physical plant systems.
• Ensure facilities comply with applicable federal and state nursing home and assisted living regulations, Life Safety Code requirements, Joint Commission standards, OSHA standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs and schedules to keep facilities and equipment safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Establish priorities for repair and maintenance work to minimize disruption to facility operations and provide efficient, cost-effective services.
• Ensure the appropriate and consistent use of facility work order systems.
• Monitor resource utilization, maintenance costs, capital expenditures, and departmental performance to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Partner with facility and corporate leadership to address plant operations concerns and support organizational goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
