Jobot is seeking an experienced attorney to become the litigation head at an established firm in Illinois. The role offers salary plus profit sharing and other bonuses, with unlimited earning potential.

The position requires an active Illinois law license and a JD from an accredited law school, with 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience. You will manage complex cases and lead courtroom proceedings as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois and in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience handling personal injury cases.
• Strong litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and other negligence claims.
• Conduct client intakes, case evaluations, and investigations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel.
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings.
• Prepare and try cases before judges and juries, as needed.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance.
