Job summary

Perry Weather, the weather safety platform for outdoor operations, is seeking a VP of People to lead our People function as we scale rapidly in Dallas. This senior role will build a robust talent acquisition engine and mature our People Operations to support fast growth.

You will partner with the executive team to translate business growth plans into a comprehensive people strategy, design scalable hiring processes, compensation frameworks, and effective workforce planning across departments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of People/HR leadership experience.
• Proven experience scaling a recruiting function at a growth-stage company.
• Experience owning People Operations (HRIS, compensation, benefits, compliance)
• Experience managing managers and building a People team.

Responsibilities

• Own the full People Operations function: HRIS, benefits, compensation, compliance.
• Lead Talent Acquisition strategy and build scalable hiring practices across departments.
• Partner with executives to translate growth plans into people strategy and workforce plans.
• Manage budget and headcount planning for People team.
