Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a dynamic operational leader to serve as Director, Clinical Operations for the Children's Congenital Heart Program, helping expand this national Center of Excellence.

Reporting within ambulatory operations, the Director will oversee operational performance, financial management, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination across outpatient and inpatient settings in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Qualifications

• Required - High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred - Masters Degree in healthcare or related field.
• Required - 10 years related health care experience, including 3 years of supervision or management experience.
• Preferred - Pediatric healthcare operations, congenital heart or cardiovascular service line leadership, ambulatory and inpatient exposure.

Responsibilities

• Strives to continuously improve all aspects of the business operation through quality improvement initiatives.
• Assumes responsibility for staffing levels, interviewing, hiring, and performance reviews.
• Supports division goals to provide cutting edge services to meet the organization's mission.
• Effectively manages budgets and monitors key cost areas.
• Recommends long-range plans to Senior Management in support of the mission.
• Develops organizational structures to align people and processes.
