Job summary

Crypto Council for Innovation in Washington, D.C. seeks a mission-focused Director of Operations to scale a nonprofit industry group and foster a high-performance culture among diverse professionals.

You will lead internal operations, HR and IT, and membership programs, while managing budgeting, audits, and compliance. The role centers on efficient, cost-conscious operations at the DC headquarters with cross-functional collaboration.

Able to work with the CEO and board, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven operational leadership with ability to scale a nonprofit.
• Strong finance, HR, IT, and administrative management experience.
• Experience collaborating with senior leadership and a board.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual operations plan.
• Provide day-to-day operations leadership; HR, IT, admin, and memberships.
• Oversee audits, budgeting, invoicing, and compliance filings.
• Maintain Washington D.C. headquarters operations and contracts.
• Support member development, onboarding, renewals, and communications.
