Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive executive leadership experience.
• Proven success increasing attendance, visitors, or consumer engagement in a museum or cultural venue.
• Experience leading revenue-generating teams.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Experience guiding organizations through change and growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using data and analytics to drive strategic decisions.
• Experience measuring impact with KPIs and SOPs.
• Passion for civil rights and inclusive environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into operational plans with clear ownership, timelines, and accountability.
• Align Education, Exhibitions, Visitor Experience, Programming, Admissions, Membership, and Group Sales for an integrated audience development strategy.
• Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to translate attendance goals into marketing plans.
• Monitor performance against objectives and recommend course corrections.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and oversee major institutional projects.
