Haag-Streit USA in Mason, OH is seeking a Head of Operations to lead our U.S. manufacturing and operational functions. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on leadership on the shop floor to drive performance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365), Lean manufacturing, and team development, along with the ability to balance strategic priorities with daily operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading multiple operational functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing planning, supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, and manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead U.S. Operations across Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory management, and cost performance using data-driven decisions.
• Maintain a hands-on leadership presence on the manufacturing floor to identify challenges and implement solutions.
• Oversee production planning, capacity, staffing, supplier performance, material availability, and processes.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 and operational data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Develop and coach managers and supervisors, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Haag-Streit Group colleagues globally to align priorities and objectives.
• Ensure a safe, high-quality work environment and regulatory/compliance adherence.

Haag-Streit USA is seeking an experienced, results-drivenHead of Operations to lead our U.S. manufacturing and operational functions.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing long-term operational strategies, analyzing ERP data, coaching leaders, and working alongside employees on the manufacturing floor to solve problems and drive results.

What You'll Do

• Lead U.S. Operations: Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory management, and cost performance through data-driven decision-making.
• Stay Connected to the Floor: Maintain a visible, hands-on leadership presence, working directly with teams to identify challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Optimize Manufacturing Performance: Oversee production planning, capacity, staffing, supplier performance, material availability, and manufacturing processes.
• Champion Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen operational effectiveness.
• Leverage Technology: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and operational data to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve performance.
• Build Strong Teams: Develop and coach managers and supervisors, fostering accountability, collaboration, employee engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate Globally: Partner with U.S. leadership and Haag-Streit Group colleagues, including teams in Switzerland, to align priorities and achieve business objectives.
• Ensure Compliance: Promote a safe, high-quality work environment while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Proven success leading multiple operational functions, preferably in a small-to-mid-sized manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, and manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong financial and business acumen with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic priorities and daily operational execution.
• Proven ability to develop leaders, manage change, build accountability, and drive results.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills, including the confidence to challenge ideas constructively.
