Job summary

Mastercam is seeking a Director of Software Engineering Motion Technology to lead globally distributed teams building our toolpath and motion technology. You will own the domain strategy, budget, staffing, and the delivery of high‑quality software across desktop and cloud platforms.

You will shape a multi‑year roadmap, drive cloud and hybrid‑cloud deployments, collaborate with Product Management and Applied Research, and mentor managers to achieve ambitious outcomes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ in leadership.
• Deep CAM/toolpath domain knowledge.
• Strong leadership and budget ownership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long-term toolpath and motion technology roadmap.
• Lead multi-year platform investment from architecture to delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Applied Research, and BU stakeholders.
• Balance cost, time-to-market, and strategic priorities while safeguarding IP.
