Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking a senior leader to manage multiple teams within Balance Sheet Management. The role requires extensive experience in treasury, balance sheet optimization, and regulatory engagement, with leadership responsibilities and strategic influence across the function.

The position entails directing cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate forecasting, and driving initiatives that improve NII stability and capital efficiency while collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in financial services.
• Solid understanding of financial products on a bank's balance sheet.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills including hiring and performance reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to negotiate at senior levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; deep treasury function knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own Markets IRRBB framework inputs and governance.
• Lead balance sheet forecasting and NII analysis for Markets.
• Provide strategic recommendations on funding, asset allocation and hedging.
• Partner with FTP to reflect funding costs and capital consumption in transfer pricing.
• Serve as primary analytical resource for regulatory examinations and governance.
