Head of Marketing and Commercial Operations
The Head of Marketing and Commercial Operations will lead the strategic and operational scaling of TalentoHC’s marketing function to drive revenue, enhance customer engagement, and elevate brand positioning across all touchpoints. This leader will oversee all facets of marketing including CRM and database marketing, segmentation, digital and content marketing, PR and media relations, events, internal communications, and marketing analytics. This role requires a strategic, analytical, and execution-driven marketing leader who thrives in high-growth environments and has experience across B2B marketing, CRM, digital strategy, events, PR, and brand development
Scale the Marketing Function at TalentoHC
  • Build a scalable marketing organization with structure, process, and talent that can support both current business and future growth.
  • Develop and implement a hybrid resourcing model blending external agency support and an in-house marketing team.
  • Lead Talento’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to reinforce the brand’s impact and presence in the communities it serves.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
  • Design and implement a comprehensive, data-informed marketing strategy aligned to revenue growth and customer experience enhancement.
  • Partner with agency and internal stakeholders to deliver targeted campaigns across customer and prospect segments.
  • Package and market the firm’s service offerings—Executive Search, Professional Search, Staff Augmentation, RPO, and HCCC—to relevant audiences.
CRM, Database Marketing & Segmentation
  • Develop and execute CRM strategies to support customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
  • Oversee CRM technology implementation and optimization to support personalized marketing campaigns.
  • Leverage email marketing tools to nurture talent communities and buyer audiences; create content-rich newsletters and campaigns.
  • Segment audiences by customer type, function, industry, geography, and service line to target communications effectively.
  • Differentiate campaigns and outreach strategies between current and prospective customers.
  • Provide strong analytics and reporting on marketing performance to optimize marketing spend and campaign effectiveness.
Digital, Website & Social Media
  • Lead the architecture and optimization of TalentoHC’s websites and digital platforms to ensure alignment with brand messaging and performance goals.
  • Develop meaningful web content that communicates value and supports customer journeys.
  • Enhance organic SEO performance through relevant and high-quality content.
  • Drive social media strategy—particularly on LinkedIn—to grow audience engagement and brand awareness.
  • Monitor and report performance of digital channels and content effectiveness.
Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Elevate TalentoHC’s brand identity and articulate the firm’s unique value proposition.
  • Develop tools such as brand messaging guides, elevator pitches, sales collateral, experience matrices, and competitor comparison charts.
  • Build a knowledge library and support tools to enable associate brand advocacy and alignment.
PR & Media Relations
  • Build a media strategy to gain visibility in local and national markets where Talento operates.
  • Get Talento published in reputable media outlets and industry publications.
  • Secure speaking engagements, podcasts, webinars, and roundtable opportunities for executives.
  • Develop relationships with journalists, media, and influencers to amplify the firm’s presence and reputation.
Events & Experiential Marketing
  • Design and execute local events to connect communities of executives and professionals.
  • Plan and manage participation in trade shows, conferences, thought leadership forums, and hosted networking events.
  • Align events with marketing goals and measure success based on engagement and business impact.
Internal Communications
  • Drive employee engagement through compelling internal communications using channels such as email, intranet, video, and virtual town halls.
  • Align messaging with company vision, values, strategic priorities, and brand tone.
  • Support presentation development, executive messaging, and campaign rollouts internally.
Executive Branding & Thought Leadership
  • Develop and manage thought leadership content in collaboration with Talento’s executive team.
  • Amplify executive voices via LinkedIn, blogs, speaking opportunities, and podcasts.
  • Position Talento leaders as credible, trusted voices across relevant industry verticals.
Marketing & Customer Development Tools
  • Create impactful marketing and sales enablement tools, including whitepapers, case studies, and messaging frameworks.
  • Articulate product features, competitive advantages, and positioning across service lines.
  • Ensure all teams are equipped with materials that enhance customer engagement and drive sales conversions.
Commercial Operations, Analytics & Planning
  • Create KPIs and dashboards to measure marketing and commercial performance.
  • Integrate business intelligence into decision-making and growth strategies.
  • Align sales and marketing to generate leads, drive pipeline activity, and support revenue targets.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the COO, supporting high-impact initiatives and go-to-market strategies.
Technology, Tools & Automation
  • Manage TalentoHC’s marketing and sales tech stack, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools, and digital platforms.
  • Ensure proper training, adoption, and ROI of marketing technologies.
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline marketing workflows and campaign execution.
  • Lead management and updates of Talento’s digital assets, websites, and affiliate platforms.
M&A Marketing Support
  • Integrate brand messaging and marketing platforms during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Support internal and external communications during the integration phase.
  • Align websites, tools, and commercial strategies for a unified brand presence.
Voice of the Customer
  • Implement VOC surveys and feedback loops to capture customer sentiment.
  • Map customer journeys and use insights to optimize experiences across products and touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with customer development to personalize messaging and develop differentiated value propositions.
Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Support Talento’s commitment to community involvement and economic development through targeted CSR programs.
  • Champion initiatives that align with Talento’s values and mission to contribute to societal impact.
Experience and knowledge requirements for the Head of Marketing and Commercial Operations:
  • Experience bringing concepts to market through programs with multi-channel marketing tactics that range from communications to branding, etc.
  • Previous experience managing a growth driven marketing function in a successful business to business organization in excess of $100M in revenue
  • Previous experience building and managing a department with highly engaged people, scalable processes and efficient technology tools
  • Data-driven mindset to measure, manage and optimize
  • Strong planning experience and thoughtfulness in developing short-, mid- and long-term approaches to build marketing departments
  • Detail orientated project management skills with budgeting and milestone-based orientation
  • Track record of problem solving through critical thinking with a positive attitude
  • Driven by collaboration, learning, doing the right thing and quality human interaction
  • Ability to retain information and continuously apply knowledge to produce results · Desire to continuously develop and grow and pride in delivering quality work, every time
