Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Vice President, Design & Architecture in a hybrid role based out of New York, NY, with regular travel to project sites. This senior role coordinates design vision and delivery for luxury residential, private club, and mixed-use developments from concept through market-ready product.

You will lead outside architects and interior designers, translate market intelligence into unit mix and finishes, and act as the design authority for budget, quality, and schedule.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in architecture, interiors, or design management on luxury projects.
• Delivery of condominium, branded residence, or club and resort developments.
• Experience coordinating external architects and designers.

Responsibilities

• Set design vision and narrative for each project, aligned with brand and target buyer.
• Build the product program with development, sales, and finance: unit mix and layouts.
• Lead consultants and manage design budgets and schedules across SD, DD, CD.
• Go-to-Market inputs for sales and marketing: floor plans, renderings, finish schedules.
• Oversee design through zoning, planning, and community reviews.
