Job summary

Uber Freight seeks a Senior Manager, Logistics Analytics & Optimization to lead design, analytics, and optimization of complex freight networks at scale. You will manage advanced technical teams to evaluate and achieve commercial objectives through rigorous analysis, modeling, and automation.

In this role, you will partner with Product, Operations, Data Science, and Leadership to improve efficiency, service, and profitability across Uber Freight’s network.

Qualifications

• Deep-dive analyses using SQL, Python and Excel (advanced formulas).
• Build repeatable analytical frameworks for network evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Work with large-scale datasets, databases, and ETL pipelines to support decisions.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs using BI tools for operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of advanced professionals; set KPIs and delegate to maximize productivity.
• Design roadmaps for analytics projects in freight routing optimization and cost structures.
• Deliver scenario analyses and data-backed recommendations with cross-functional collaboration.
• Establish governance and documentation standards for analytics and data pipelines.
• Develop automated analytics frameworks and scalable decision products.
