This position will report directly to Fervo's Chief Financial Officer.

Success in this position means building trusted, long-term relationships with institutional and retail investors, delivering high-quality reporting and disclosure, and ensuring Fervo’s story is told consistently and credibly across all investor touchpoints. The Director of IR will play a visible, strategic role, spearheading quarterly earnings processes, managing sell-side relationships, supporting Board reporting, and helping position Fervo as a pioneering voice in energy.

  • Maintain a consistent and compelling investor narrative across all touchpoints, ensuring alignment between external messaging and internal strategy
Capital Markets & Events
  • Manage investor conferences, roadshows, and investor day events- including targeting, logistics, and preparation of supporting materials
  • Monitor and synthesize equity research coverage, peer company activity, shareholder base changes, and broader capital markets developments into regular briefings for senior leadership
  • Track 13F filings and institutional ownership shifts, maintaining a current and accurate picture of Fervo’s shareholder base for leadership
  • Maintain a comprehensive tracker of all investor and analyst interactions, including relationship status, follow-up commitments, and engagement history
  • Support reactive and crisis communications, managing investor messaging around material events, market volatility, or other developments requiring rapid response

  • Lead end-to-end earnings call preparation, including script development, management Q&A prep, and post-call transcript review
  • Coordinate SEC filing obligations- including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings- in close partnership with legal and finance teams
  • Ensure compliance with Reg FD and other public company disclosure requirements, serving as an internal resource on disclosure best practices and material information handling
  • Contribute to Board of Directors reporting, giving directors clear visibility into investor sentiment, capital markets activity, and financing progress
  • Liaise with the transfer agent and support equity plan communications to employees as needed

  • Contribute to long-range planning and scenario analysis, providing an investor perspective on capital allocation and business strategy
  • Synthesize market intelligence, policy developments, and competitive dynamics into actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Serve as a cross-functional resource, partnering with finance, legal, and project development teams on decisions with investor implications
Required Qualifications
