Role

In this role, you’ll lead the strategic direction and management of the investment product suite for BNY Wealth and make an impact in the following ways:

1. Proactively assess the product/solution offering to identify new solutions and ensure product shelf competitiveness for BNY Wealth clients.
2. Implement an industry-leading advisory platform that enables client acquisition and relationship depth.
3. Build strong relationships with the Wealth advisor field to assess client demand.
4. Oversee engagement with advisors and help them navigate the investment offering, in partnership with our Head of Investment Strategy and National Director of Portfolio Management.
5. Create and manage relationships, communications, and access with all asset management partners, including negotiation of economics to deliver excellent commercial outcomes.
6. Monetize the product shelf by creating enhanced value in the Wealth ecosystem while enabling added capabilities for advisors.

Job Description

Head of Investment Architecture

Role

Lead the strategic direction and management of the investment product suite for BNY Wealth, impacting in the following ways:

1. Assess the product/solution offering to identify new solutions and ensure product competitiveness.
2. Implement an advisory platform to enable client acquisition and deepen relationships.
3. Build relationships with Wealth advisors to assess client demand.
4. Partner with senior leaders to oversee engagement and navigation of investment offerings with advisors.
5. Manage relationships with asset management partners, including negotiations for economic outcomes.
6. Create value and enable capabilities for advisors within the Wealth ecosystem.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Extensive knowledge of alternatives including private equity, credit, real estate, hedge funds, and luxury assets.
• Deep understanding of investment structures for taxable investors, including SMAs, ETFs, structured products, and insurance for UHNW clients and Family Offices.
• Experience in platform and product adoption, scalable processes, and technology tools.
• Experience within private banking and broker dealer models.
• Understanding of advisor needs and strategy development for client accounts.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with executive presence.
• Significant experience in public speaking.
• Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams.

BNY offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary expected to be between $127,000 and $275,000, depending on experience and location. Total compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and benefits. The position is at-will, with salary and benefits subject to change.
